Academic Facilities

a. Academic Blocks

First & foremost, University will develop high tech department building (or Academic Blocks). These buildings will contain lecture halls, laboratories, faculty offices etc. Every department will also contain a small departmental library with all basic books and subscriptions.

Department blocks will also have small computer lab with required software. Other amenities like washrooms, pantry, elevators, and drinking water facilities shall also make part of Department Buildings.

b. Lecture Halls

University will be equipped with modern lecture halls with latest learning aids. The capacity of lecture halls will vary from 30 to 120 to accommodate different batch sizes. More than 250 lectures halls across 12 Schools are planned, which shall accommodate all students comfortably.

The classrooms will contain comfortable benches arranged in semi-circular or straight line with back benches raised on gradual steps to maintain board visibility till end. The Lecture halls will offer a better acoustic experience with the use latest technologies and audio systems.

c. Laboratories

Laboratories will be equipped with latest equipment to conduct experiments as mandated by statutory norms and more. The Laboratories will be stocked to ensure that all students are accommodated comfortably. Advance Labs will be setup for PG and Higher students as required. The equipment will be updated and consumable will be replenished timely to ensure smooth learning of students.

d. Library

Libraries are always the central point of all research work and studies. All great institutes around the world boast of a majestic library, which is well stocked, well catalogued and equipped with latest IT systems to enable easy classification, placement and retrieval.

The proposed university shall also establish a grand stand alone library. The Library will be well stocked with more than 2 lakh volumes and subscribe to all important journals.It will have a digital catalogue for quick search of books. A large reading room with comfortable environment will be provided for students.

The Library will have an extensive offline collection of journals, books, research papers etc. apart from that Library will have digital subscription of all major journals, scholarly websites, data sources like Capitaline, ISI Emerging Markets, CMIE etc.

Library will be equipped with a full-fledged Documentation centre and cafeteria. The library is envisaged to be one of the landmarks not only of University but of Rajasthan.

e. Seminar Halls

Apart from Adequate lecture halls, 4-6 seminar halls with capacity ranging from 120 to 300 capacity will be also built. These halls will be state-of-art rooms ready for Industry Interaction, Large Conferences and Motivation Seminars and other such events. They will all be equipped with High-tech Audio systems, lights and projection systems.

f. Distance Learning Department

SR Global University will establish a dedicated distance learning division, where in students who cannot attend classroom programs can enrol themselves and learn.

The course curriculum will be designed to include self-study and self-assessment system backed by limited classroom interaction and live tests. All this will be supported by an excellent online learning environment to enable smooth communication between students and faculty.
