Entertainment & Leisure Facilities

a. Auditorium

To hold events for large audiences like convocation ceremonies, concerts, live shows and other events, a state of the art auditorium will be built. The auditorium will have seating capacity of at least 1000 people.

The auditorium will feature a large stage with multiple backdrops with green rooms, VIP Rooms and large backstage area. It will be equipped with latest Audio and Lighting systems with best acoustic planning for excellent sound production and absorption. It will also have high lumens projector with large screen for presentations during functions.

b. Open Air Theatre

Apart from High Tech Auditorium, an Open Air Theatre (OAT) with central well and circular step type seating will be built. This OAT will be used to organize informal theatrical and musical events as is popular these days. The OAT will have a seating capacity of 400-500 people.

c. Music, Arts& Drama Club

To foster a culture of performance arts a MAD Club (Music, Arts & Drama) will be established with a dedicated area in student club. In this club students will be selected after auditions by the previous members. This club will be equipped with all props and instruments needed by students to practice and hone their skills. The students will also organize an annual event around these arts, providing them a platform to showcase these skills.

This club will form an important part of extra-curricular activities of students.

d. Sculpted Gardens

To enhance the overall aesthetic level and create a great looking campus, beautiful gardens will be developed and maintained. The gardens will be sculpted amalgamating International trends with Indian Flora. The gardens will have benches and shades to provide a comfortable space to students to sit and relax.

The gardens will be developed across the campus in residential area, admin blocks, academic blocks and sports area.

e. Restaurants

To provide a complete experience to staff, students and visitors, campus will create dedicated space to manage and run restaurants. These restaurants will typically be contracted out to service providers. The restaurants can be of 3-4 categories from affordable to premium catering to various audiences and tastes. Such places allow staff and visitors to enjoy their regular life in campus itself. These places are a great source of revenue also for University.

f. Commercial Block

To cater to various needs of campus residents, a full-fledged commercial block will be developed. Basic infrastructure to setup various shops will be developed and leased out to various agencies to set up their ventures in that block.

The block will typically have ATMs, General Store, Hair Salons, Medical Shop, Grocery store, Fruit & Vegetable Vendors, Branch of 1 or 2 banks, Basic Clothes store, Stationery shop, Restaurants etc.
