Residential & Food Facilities

a. Hostels

SR Global University will develop world class residential facilities for students. The Hostels will be single, twin or triple sharing basis at varying costs. Each hostel shall have its own mess, canteen, Laundry Room with Ironing Facilities. The Canteen shall also operate in the night after mess closes. Hostels will also have a small Computer Lab and Photocopier facility. A provision of small Gymnasium, Music & Dancing Room will also be made.

The hostels will have shared bathrooms with all facilities like urinals, geysers, wash basins and water closets with Indian and western style seating. The hostels will be kept in pristine condition by taking services of good housekeeping agency with a strict maintenance schedule. An elected committee of students shall monitor the hostel activities and coordinate with authorities.

All hostels will have beautifully landscaped gardens with benches for study and relaxation. The residential facilities will be made truly world class to make stay of students as comfortable and conducive as possible.

b. Messes

The mess facilities shall be integrated hostel-wise, therefore each hostel shall have its own mess. The mess will operate under high standards of food quality and hygiene. A student committee of residents of that hostel shall monitor and provide continuous feedback of functioning of the mess.

The mess shall offer a rich menu of food items catering to needs of all students. It shall have enough flexibility to in case a student desires to have something off-menu using coupons and cashless system of entries.

c. Canteens

Canteens always forms an important part of student culture of any Institute. Canteens are a hotbed of student interactions on various topics from Politics and Cricket to intense technological debates. They also serve as a great place for students to unwind, have fun and celebrate their student life.

SR Global University will establish two types of canteens. One type of canteen will be located on public locations across the campus for students and staff. For Example in admin blocks for staff, in academic blocks and students and faculty during day time. The other type of canteens will run in Hostels during the night time typically from 10:30 PM to 4 AM. These canteens will serve an array of food items, cooked in Hygienic conditions with quality ingredients.

d. Snacks & Juice Corners

Apart from canteens, at different locations Snacks & Juice Corners will be established. While a typical canteen will need an area of at least 2000 Sqft with a full-fledged kitchen, these establishments will be small with no elaborate kitchen equipment and area needs. For Example Juice Corner will provide Juices only and will need Mixers, Crushers only.
