Technical Events

a. Technical Festival

Like any great institute of repute, SR Global University will strive to establish an Annual Technical Festivalinvolving all departments and streams.

A well-known and established technical festival has multi-fold benefits. It is great platform to students to showcase their Technical as well organizational skills. Visitors get exposed to various new technologies and trends across the world. Students get to meet students of other institutes and create a network of their own within student community. Such Technical Festival also create a good word of mouth in student community and teacher fraternity.

b. Seminars & Conferences

Apart from a flagship annual technical event, round the year many seminars and conferences will be organized by various departments on different topics as and when required.

Unlike technical festivals, these events are short events with a narrow focus on a particular topic and entire conversation in around that topic only. Therefore such events carry a high academic value and enrich everybody involved in the event.

c. Guest Lecture Series

As part of our Industry Interaction Initiative, a regular guest lecture series will be organized. In this lecture series leading luminaries from Industry and Academia will come and address the students. The topics of lecture will vary from technical to managerial to motivational.

Such lecture series will give a chance to students to interact with people at the top of their game, at the same time these people get a chance to visit the university and its infrastructure.

d. Paper Presentations

Round the year, departments will organize Paper Presentation events, where student will prepare and present papers on various topics. These presentations will be judged by Professors and Guests from Industry. Based on that students shall be awarded and rewarded.

Such events will encourage students to delve deeper in technology and it will also teach students in all important skill of documentation and drafting of papers.

e. Business Plan Contest

To inculcate an entrepreneurship orientation & thought in all students of all streams, Business Plan contests shall be organized. These contests will comprise detailed business plan presentations on their original business ideas including business strategy, cash flows, marketing plans etc.
